For those who don't know, the DSA has removed all driving test routes from its website, this was done just before the 4th of October 2010 to make the independent element of the test much closer to real life.
As I've mentioned in my tips video below, safety should be first, following the directions is secondary. If you get lost or go the wrong way, it is not a driving test fault as long as everything else was done correctly. You shouldn't be worrying about time or if you are going the right way, continue to follow the road ahead until you see the sign you are looking for, or the examiner intervines to get you back onto the right track (he/she is the one who needs to make sure you don't go over the test allocated 40 minutes time, so let them worry about being lost).
If you require a high quality driving instructor who is very helpful, patient and fully qualified and CRB checked, then why not call or send me a text message on 07956233032.
DSA Examiner Independent Driving Test Routes Video
For those of you interested in practising on the official 2012 dsa examiner routes, I have made some videos that cover the more difficult ones on the NW London test centres I use.
As fully qualified instructor with many years experience, I have seen some very good drivers get tripped up at some tricky places on some of the routes by examiners in the NW London area, so I have made these tutorial videos to cover these situations.
Each video covers what I have found out to the toughest route, and has additional tips on other places or things that you should be aware as a driving test candidate. These are offered as complimentary preparation materials to your lessons or private practice sessions.
